Update
Ivee did very well in her swallow study yesterday. She didn't cry, not even once. She wanted to know what was going on the whole time. And she was adorable with her Barium "go-t". Wish I had took a picture. Well, she didn't aspirate once. She couldn't do thin liquids very well, but on the consistency of 2nd stage foods, she could get it down after about 3 swallows. So, we have a long patient road ahead of us, but she didn't fail the test. Daddy and I are thrilled. We are just waiting on approval from the oncologist, and we will begin to try to feed her. She is starting all over again. She really doesn't remember "how" to eat. She pushed it out of her mouth. We are excited and are anxious to get started. Thank you for the prayers. God bless everyone of you!

YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! So glad and thankful to hear that it went well. I hope y'all have a wonderful thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for. Love you lots!
Hope, that's great that Ivee will be able to eat. How appropriate that this happened on Thanksgiving week! Maybe you could start with some pumpkin pie! LOL! :) Have a great Thanksgiving, wish we could be near family for it.

Hope - that is such great news!! So sorry I have been such a slacker lately about blogging. I think of you guys everyday and I still read the updates all the time. Like the Nemo pjs! Aunt Karen didn't know if they would fit or not. Someone give them to Macky but her little chunky self couldn't fit into them - her gut hung out. Looks like Ivee likes them too! I am super impressed with her ability to undress herself and I am super glad that Mackenzie can't do this yet. I don't know about Ivee but Mackenzie is into everything. We got our Christmas tree and at first she was scared of it - not anymore. She walks right up to the ornaments and just pulls one off. This is going to be a long season of "don't touch or you'll get a spanking". I am so glad this Christmas is going to be so totally different for the Foley family - no more bad news this year. Only great things ahead!! God bless you guys and have a Happy Thanksgiving day!! Gibble Gobble Wibble Wobble (that's turkey talk - I taught all my elementary kids this for turkey day)!! Blessings, Paula
We have never met, however I found your link on little Johnny Sileno's CaringBridge site. His aunt works with my husband, who is a pilot in the Air Force and a father to three beautiful daughters.
We are currently at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington DC because my husband is being treated for a terminal brain tumor. We are actually "WAITING" on another opinion from a third pathology report because one said he had a stage 4 glioma-multiforme glioblastoma and the other said he had a stage 2 astrocytoma glioma. That's a pretty large difference.
We wanted you to know we will be praying for your little girl. Our 3 year old was born with craniosynostosis which required surgery and a year and a half of therapy. So I know what it is like and how scary it is to have a sick child. She is good now and SO full of energy and life. Now we are battling this cancer in my husband.
We would like to wish your family a Very Happy Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, we will not be with our children today, as we are still here at the hospital in DC. They will be at my sister's house in Oklahoma. However, the girls are flying out to see us next week. We're so excited, it's been more than two months, since we were home.
Stay strong and give thanks for being able to celebrate LIFE!
God Bless, Shelly & Scott Perkins

Hope, that's awesome!!! Sounds like a baby food part is in order!!! We'll pray that she handles it all well and that this week really is a wonderful week of Thanksgiving!
See you Sunday,
