Ivee had a pretty good day today. She is still really congested, but in a great mood. Today, she reached another milestone. She rolled over and pushed herself up. She did this a few times. She could do this before the surgery, so as of now she is where she was at 7 months. The next step is sitting up on her own. I am so proud of her. It seems that sometimes the physical therapy just isn't doing anything, then all of a sudden she just does something on her own. She is amazing.
The nights are still rough, but once the congestion is gone, I believe it will improve.
I have more pics and video. Hopefully I can get something on here soon.

Hope - Isn't that just God's goodness - when things are going bad he gives us that something to say WOW look at that. She is so strong...I mean she just got out of the hospital and she is already rolling over and pushing herself up. I am just beleiving for that quicker recovery this time. My son is a late talker...my mom says is he ever going to talk? He is 2 years and 4 months old. He says alot of words but he mostly has to be prompted to do so. In the last 3 weeks he has counted to 10, sang his ABC's and told me that today his sucker was blue (and it was). I was blown away - I think these little people are just soaking stuff in all the time and then when you need a little boost they just let it all out there. I believe every milestone Ivee reaches is evidence of her coming healing. Because of all she has went through and all the strength she has maintained I think she will be a force to be reckoned with when she is older. She won't have fear cause she will have beat cancer. She will be a mighty woman of God speaking to mountains and watching them move. I wish she never had a bad day - tI wish they were all good!! I have to say that you get the mother of the year award in my book. I broke down in tears this morning because I was running late, my son had all the couch cousins on the floor and had chocolate milk drops on them saying "mommy swim", my daughter was crying and had poop that needed to be changed as I was walking out the door and I rode to work on gas fumes cause I didn't have time to stop. I got to work and said here they are yours for the day and proceeded to my office feeling sorry for myself because of my "rough" morning. Then I remembered you Hope and thought what a brat I am and how I wish in the momemt I could put things in proper perspective. Thanks for standing in faith - it speaks volumes to people every day (me included). I pray you do get some rest tonight. Your rambling blogger friend - Paula Casallo
Hope, she's all girl!! She's going to do it in her time (well, and God's, too!!) but she will do it. I'm glad to hear she's continuing to improve, and I can't wait to hear that she's sitting up and walking, too!! She will be soon!
I also pray your nights get better soon, too. I know that's so hard.
Praying for you daily,
Daisy
Hope and Emmet,
I watch you sing and worship on SUndays and My whole family is bolstered. You both have the gift of leading all of us into worship. I am certain you do the same to those at the hospital. What a ministry you have. We love you all and are praying for comfort.
2 Cor 1:7-11
Paul writes...Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort: who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we are comforted.
That word comfort means "come along side." I can just see Jesus comeing along side Ivees crib and ministering to her in a way none of us can comprehend. Oh how your life comforts us to face challenges. We are happy to hear of Ivee's progress. LOL JEN and KEV
That is great to hear! I have been following and coming back regularly to check on how Ivee is doing! I enjoy hearing that she is progressing well and we continue to keep her in our prayers!
