Home

We got home last night. Ivee is doing well. She gets choked and gagged on the mucus often. If we could just get it cleared up, she could probably do some really good swallowing on her own.
She is doing really great at Physical Therapy. She is starting to hold her head up on her own. She is making terrific progress. We check in to the hospital next Monday for the 2nd round of multiple chemo doses. We'll be in there for about 3 or 4 days. She'll get her G Button, which will be alot easier for us to feed her and give meds. She likes to pull on her tube.
Hey, I'm missing some of you. Paula, where did you go? : ) Thanks for the talks. That goes for all of you.

Hope, we're glad y'all are home for a little while, and we continue to pray for each of you. God knows all your needs.
It was good to see you & Emmitt the other night. You both are a blessing.
In Him,

Hope,

I am so sorry - I haven't forgot you all I promise. My kids have been sick every weekend for the last 3 weeks. I have been out of work for the last 2 days so I haven't even been able to check the blog. I talked to Aunt Karen Friday and she told me Ivee had to go back to the hospital. I cried and cried. I was even going to see about going to the hospital with Aunt Karen but with the kids sick I thought it better to stay away. My mom called me yesterday and said guess who Aunt Karen is holding - baby Ivee. It is like we have adopted your child into our family. Everybody I know knows Ivee. I promise to blog more consistently. I pray everyday for you all. Your kids have really been on my heart because I can't imagine how they must feel. This is an important time in their faith building - you know. I just believe they - like Ivee will have great faith and a wonderful testimony because of this. God will make something beautiful out what the devil meant for evil. I am at work - have a super messy desk. Gotta run!! Blessings - Paula

I really appreciate you and Em taking part of the clan when I went in for my "spa" treatment at Providence. I can't wait for the day that we can resume our habits of indulgence!! I had a few minutes this morning and wanted to tell you I love you! Let's get together soon and have some good ole fashioned Harman prayer time!!LOL Mel

Hey Hope! We've been checking your blog regularly and had some crazy things going on here. But our family raises you up in prayer every day and when we go to church, we pray for you there too. We are just so proud that she's doing so well. Talk to you soon. Mitch, Ashley and Mason kids.

I just wanted to tell you...I had a dream about Ivee last night. I remember you and I being "somewhere" and you were holding Ivee. You said, "Watch this..." You put her down and she was walking. I even remember she was wearing a white onesie with some kind of pale blue print on it. It was really neat. I just wanted to share that with you. So many things to look forward to...Take care, CP

Hope,
I am Daisy's neighbor, and she has told me all about you. This was my first visit to your blog, but I will pray for you, your family, and that beautiful Ivee.

Blessings,

Hi Hope,
I just wanted to let you know Ivee is still on our prayer list at church, and at home. I am so glad she is making progress! Since Ivee loves Nemo, I made her a "Nemo Blanket". I am not a seamstress, so it is not perfect, just a little flannel blanket made with love. I will get it to Nicole tomorrow, and hopefully she can give it to you Sunday at church.
I hope everyday will be a better day!
Love, & Prayers,
B.Jackson

Hey y'all! I am so very glad to hear that Ivee is continuing to progress so well! I'm praying that the mucus will clear up and for round 2 of chemo. Whatever a "G button" is, that sounds like a wonderful thing. I'm glad to hear they can do something to make things a little easier on y'all.

THis may be very incoherent as it's 6:15am and I've been up since about 3. Ah the joys of the last bits of pregnancy. I was hoping to have her yesterday so she could share Momma's birthday, but it was not meant to be. Been having lots of Braxton Hicks contractions for over a week, but I'm ready for the real thing and ready for our little girl to be here already. I just hope she doesn't come on Valentine's Day-I don't think that would be a very fun birthday once you were out of elementary school (going out to dinner would be impossible!). We are praying for you and we'll keep you posted on the arrival of the new Chastain. love, Deborah

Hello Hope - I was up last night looking for a scripture to pray over Ivee. I went to ladies night out with the church and the speaker said she loves to pray scripture over people. I couldn't find what I was looking for - it was after 10pm when I started looking. I wanted to tell you that Wednesday night at TeamKid at our church we sang a new song that says "These are the days when we can see miracles". I just got a big smile - I received it as a word from the Lord for Ivee. Macky is crying so I better go for now. Psalm 118:14 "He is my strength and my song in the heat of battle..." I can't wait until you get the last part of this scripture ..."and now he has given me the victory." Blessings, Paula
